My Sick Kiddo

We had a long week, Kimberly was running a very high fever all week. It would get really high and then come back down with OTC medicine. All she wanted was for mom to hold her. She is so funny she fell asleep on the couch with her magic wand in her hand.
What a sweetie.

It is so hard when the kids are sick and there is nothing you can do to make them better.

We have been snuggling and watching lots of Ruby & Max and Kimberly's new favorite show Super Why! Hopefully there will be some new episodes on soon we have seen the 3 we have recorded way too many times :)

This picture just cracks me up, she emptied out her toys and was sitting on the couch in the toy bin. I think she got upset with me and when I came back in to check on her she was asleep in the toy bin. What a silly girl.

Happy Birthday...........

For my birthday my friend, Heidi, came and took me to lunch. When we got back Russ and Kimberly had decorated the house for our party! :) It was so sweet and Kimberly was so very proud.

We had a yummy Ice cream cake roll!! YUMMM!

I got spoiled! With lots of fun games (they are fun learning games for the whole family)

I also got a new pair of Crocs and each of the kids picked out a Jibbitz for me.

I also got money from Mom, Dad, Lo, Kendra and Kenny to go shopping!! Oh how fun :)

Russell picked out the Mickey Mouse, Brooke the beautiful flower and Kimberly picked out the Corpse Bride. LOL

S'more Fun..........

We were looking for a special snack today and nothing really sounded good to the girls, so while they were watching a movie I made up some S'mores.

We have a gas stove so it was easy (as long as the kids didn't see LOL)
Anyway this little treat turned out to be a BIG HIT! I didn't realize the girls had never
had them before. The girls were so excited and so funny to watch them eat this messy treat! I guess we will be making them again real soon.

Good News

Or should I say GREAT news!!

As most of you know my Mom had quite a rough year!

She found out in June that she had cancer.

They did radiation and felt that they had gotten everything!

She will have to go in every 3 months

Mom went in for her first round of testing and they have told her that she is officially

In Remission!

I just have to say Thank you for all of the prayers! I am so thankful that God is watching is watching over her! I love you MOM!

Merry Christmas to Russell

Russell went to Utah to spend Christmas and New Year's

with his Mom. So we celebrated Christmas again on Jan. 5th.

We let Russell open all of his presents on Sat. morning

and then we had Christmas dinner that evening.

Russell got lots of fun stuff ! New movies, games and money

to go shopping!

It wasn't the same here without him, but we are happy

he was able to be with his Mom for Christmas.

Brooke fell asleep 1 hour before midnight! So we had to wake her up with confetti shooting guns and poppers!

Our floor looked like time square! Ok it wasn't that bad but, it was close.

had the noise maker on the end. They were so funny to watch.

Brooke finally woke up to join the party. It took another 2 hours to get them to go to bed because they were so wound up!
