Sick Again

Can you beleive it? The girls were sick again on Thursday and Friday.
This picture of Brooke cracks me up because she fell asleep while palying her
Gameboy DS. (it seemed to be the only way to keep her in bed) I have been cleaning
and spraying everything down with lysol! I am hoping that we can get over this and
have healthy happy kids! They are just not fun when they are sick.

Even the poor dog threw up! Geeez!

Kimberly and the computer

It was cooler than normal here this past week. With lots of rain and even some snow pelets mixed in. So Kimberly and I just hung out at home and she played on the computer (www.dailynoggin.com Her new favorite) and mom got some cleaning done.
She was so serious while she was playing. It was fun to see how much she can do all by her self.
She is such a smart girl! I can't beleive she is almost 4!

Did you know............

That you are NOT supposed to take pictures in the grocery store?
If you take pictures in the grocery store, they will escort you out?

Ok so here is the story. Last week Brooke and I took the Girl Scout Cookie order form over to the bank inside our local grocery store. They said they needed about 15 mins and I had done all of my grocery shopping earlier in the day so Brooke and I went to check out all of the fun Valentine stuff!
Anyway there were a number of very cute things and Brooke was holding them up and telling me how much she liked them so I snapped a picture of her! And then she asked me to take a few more. Next thing I know the manager comes over and starts questioning me to why I would be taking pictures in his store. Umm ……..(insert lie) We were just taking pictures for her school project ..………. Yeah that’s it. LOL So he asks me not to take any more pictures and then he waited for me to leave and followed us to the front of the store. So there you go it was a first for me being escorted out of my local grocery store. Note to self the grocery store is NOT a place for fun, just groceries.

Home Sick

Poor Brook woke up sick again today! So I decided to keep both girls home from school.
Brooke had her ups and downs all day. We made a big bed on the floor in the living room
and let the girls hang out. We watched a couple of movies and ate soup and crackers :)

Kimberly felt much better than brooke did. She even changed her clothes a few times.
Here is a cute picture of her in her new cherry pj's

A little sisterly love! This is rare pose these days! These girls fight, fight and fight most days.
Brooke didn't feel well enough to fight back today so Kimberly gave up and mostly left her alone.

Do I need to say more?

This is so true at my house!! And my kids know it!
Does anyone else have this problem!

I have been waiting to share this!!!

This was the highlight of my holidays!!!

Kimberly is such a funny girl! At age 3 she is constantly cracking us up!

Starbucks anyone?

Ok, so we like to visit Starbucks on occation and it is kind of funny when your kids ask to go so they can have a White Milka. What is a White Milka you ask....... As Kimberly would say "It's a kids milk with a Little Bit of Whip Cream"
Brooke is in school now so she doesn't get the chance to order her favoite drink very often.
So on our way home from the Girl Scout Cookie Rally Brooke and I stoped to get our favoite drinks.

Remembering a positive man

Pres. Hinckley's 6 Be's
He added 3 more.
The complete list is:
Be Grateful
Be Smart
Be Clean
Be True
Be Humble
Be Prayerful
Be Positive
Be Still
Be Involved

and I will add:

Be Happy!
"Cultivate an attitude of happiness. Cultivate a spirit of optimism. Walk with faith, rejoicing in the beauties of nature, in the goodness of those you love, in the testimony which you carry in your heart concerning things divine."
~Gordon B. Hinckley~
Sweet words to my ears and what I think President Hinckley represented. He was such an ambassador of optimism. I couldn't help but smile whenever I saw him. But beyond that, he inspired me to hope for a better world.

I am not LDS but I know that the world was a better place because of this wonderful man.
