They did a great job and the kids had a great job!!

It was outside so we packed up our dinner and snacks
and just relaxed while we watched the fun play.

Fun at the park

It was a nice sunny day so we decided to

go to the park with Sara and Nolan.

The kids had some fun and Sara and I got to visit :)

2,920 Days

Today is our 8 year anniversary.

I was talking to Kimberly about it and she asked

me how many days Daddy and I have been married.

Well that would be 2,920 days today!

She just couldn't believe it was such a big number! LOL

So that has been the joke today!

Happy 2,920 days!

So here are the top 8 things I love about Russ

1~ He is a wonderful loving husband

2~ He is a wonderful loving father

3~ He can always make me laugh

4~ In the good times and the bad he is always my Rock

5~ He is a very hard worker

6~ He is a great friend, he is always there when you need him

7~ He is a great cook (I just wish he would cook more often.... HINT HINT!)

8~ He has made me happy for 2,920 days and counting!

Waiting for some news

My Mom went in for her one year cancer CT scan.

After being told for the past year that she is cancer free

she was told today that they have found some things that were not normal.

They did a biopsy right away and scheduled her for a

follow up test in two weeks.

Please pray that everything is OK!

It is so hard to be far away from her during times like this!

I am just happy she has family close to be there for her!

I will send out an update as soon as we know something.

Halloween Jitters

Kimberly has a case of the Halloween Jitters.

Last year she was so affraid of EVERYTHING!

She would have a panic attack when we walked into

any store that had halloween decorations!

We couldn't walk down the street because they

had the big blow up witch in the front yard,

we couldn't even get her out of the car unless

the garage door was closed, so the scary things couldn't get her.

So we have had Lot's of talks over the past year

and she has said that she is 4 1/2 and she

isn't afraid of Halloween this year.

But as we get closer and more Halloween stuff is out

she is getting more and more worried about it!

Grandpa Bob and Grandma Lois

sent us a package last week with some candy,

a witch and a mummy. When you push

their head down they pop back up laugh

and say "Happy Halloween!"

Kimberly has asked me to send them back.

They are NOT allowed in the same room with her.

She totally freaks out if she sees or hears them!!

I don't know how to help her!

Any suggestions???

scrapbook night

We went to Sharon's house to scrapbook tonight!

It was a much needed night out! I got so much done!

Sharon has a beautiful house and a Spool...

I had never heard of one before, but it is pretty cool.

It is a small Pool that is also a Spa

It has a deep end perfect for water aerobics

and the nice bench area with jets. Pretty cool!

This is Sharon's dog! What a sweetie!

Yummy Dinner

We took the kids to The Melting Pot for dinner

And they were so funny about cooking their own food.

They were a little unsure about dipping everything

in the cheese. Kimberly mostly just ate the veggies.

When they brought out the meat and veggies the

started warming up to the idea .

By the time we got to the chocolate the kids were having a great time

who could resist gooey, melted chocolate fondue! Yummm!

Russ and I had a bottle of our favorite Ice Wine.

It was a perfect way to end a perfect night!
